Presidents Emeriti

Starting with the new constitution of June of 2016, Presidents serve a two year term as President, preceded by a two year term as Vice-President. Past Presidents serve two years on the Society’s Executive Committee, and then two years as the chair of the nominating committee and a Trustee of the Society. The President delivers a keynote address at the annual conference which is published in the Journal of the History of Economic Thought. Previously, we had one-year mandates for President, President-Elect (who subsequently became President), and Vice-President.
