The History of Economics Society awards the honor of “Distinguished Fellow” to those who have contributed a lifetime of exceptional study to the history of economics. We are pleased to invite nominations for the 2020 award which will be announced at the annual meeting next spring in Utrrecht. The selection committee is specified in the constitution as the three past presidents of the society — Evelyn Forget, Mauro Boionovsky and Jeff Biddle..
If you would like to nominate someone for the award of Distinguished Fellow, please send their CV or a list of publications, a letter outlining why they should be honored and two additional letters of support to Evelyn Forget <firstname.lastname@example.org> by 30 November 2019..The committee considers current nominations only; nominations submitted in previous years should be re-submitted to be considered.
As you think about who you might nominate, we ask you to remember that good work takes many forms and to explicitly consider those who have made important contributions that may not have received the attention they deserve.
