Membership in the History of Economics Society meaningfully contributes to supporting the field of the history of economic thought by fostering scholarship and discussion of important issues. HES members receive copies of our society’s field-leading journal, Journal of the History of Economic Thought, as well as digital access to the journal. Members also receive discounted registration for the annual conference held each June, where they attend the HES Business Meeting and can voice concerns and vote on Society’s matters. Members are also eligible to apply for grants under the HES’s New Initiatives Proposals program and through other initiatives.
